About the Study

We wanted to find out how big a difference a Fypon polyurethane decorative millwork can make on a home’s perceived value. So, we asked an independent research firm to reach out to 252 real estate agents across the U.S. In the survey, they were shown images of various homes, including some that had been modified with Fypon polyurethane millwork.

When shown photos of the front exterior, they estimated homes with Fypon to be about 21% more valuable on average. Depending on home style and type of millwork, the survey showed real estate agents’ perceived value of a home could increase by as much as 21%. That’s a potential increase of up to $63,000 on a $300,000 home.
