Fypon Repeat Winner in 2008 Brand Use Study

March 24, 2008 - For the second year in a row, Fypon, the leader in the synthetic millwork industry, received the #1 ranking in Quality and Brands Used Most in the 2008 Brand Use Study conducted by Builder magazine and Readex Research.

The impressive results came from a survey of more than 10,000 Builder magazine recipients polled on a wide variety of product preferences, usage and familiarity in 82 product categories. Fypon walked away with five important first-place rankings in the study, including:

“This is the first year that ‘Mouldings/Trim/Columns’ have been broken into interior and exterior categories,” says Tom Riscili, president of Fypon. “It’s rewarding to see that Fypon retained leadership positions in several rankings while making a significant statement in the interiors area by sweeping every available category.”

In addition to their five first-place rankings, Fypon also received top three leading response positioning in several additional categories, including Brand Familiarity, Quality and Brands Most Used in the Decorative Mouldings/Trim/Columns: Exterior Category.

“These high performance ratings are a strong indicator of the quality of products available from Fypon and the widespread acceptance of our products by builders nationwide,” says Riscili. “We value this type of industry recognition because it signals to us that our dedicated efforts to produce quality products are appreciated by industry professionals.”

The study, conducted by independent research company Readex Research, included a survey sample consisting of 10,800 readers of Builder magazine classified as “builder, builder-developer, or general contractor.” The sample represents more than 114,600 similarly classified readers of the magazine.

Conducted during the fourth quarter of 2007, the 2008 Brand Use Study surveyed participants on various questions related to a wide field of building products. The study will be released in the mid-April 2008 Buyer’s Guide issue of Builder magazine. Readex Research, which conducted the study, is a nationally recognized independent research company located in Stillwater, Minnesota.
